Jane is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) with master’s degrees in Sociology and Social Work from Boston College. After completing her graduate studies, she spent five years providing psychotherapy and case management to victims of crime in Essex and Suffolk Counties.
Jane’s primary clinical interests are trauma and attachment, and she greatly enjoys working with survivors of abuse in families and relationships, community violence, sexual assault, and homicide. Since joining TLG, she has received additional training in perinatal mental health and has appreciated the opportunity to work with parents in all stages of welcoming a new child. Jane enjoys working with individuals of all ages, genders, and racial identities through a feminist, anti-racist, and social justice lens. She draws from many clinical techniques, including mindfulness and mind/body connection, CBT, motivational interviewing, and narrative therapies. More than anything, Jane strives to build a supportive relationship with each client and offer a tailored approach based on each individual’s unique needs.
