Maya Sisodia, LCWS

Maya Sisodia (she/her/hers) is a clinical social worker. She graduated from Boston College with a Master of Social Work in 2025. Maya has prior experience working in residential mental health care, group therapy, case management, and behavioral health within a community health center setting, with a diverse range of clients from all walks of life. Her clinical areas of interest include depression, anxiety, body image and eating disorders, neurodivergence, executive functioning, family and relationship issues, identity exploration (including around queer and BIPOC identities), self-esteem, trauma, and life transitions. Maya aims to create a therapeutic environment that is client-centered, trauma-informed, empathetic, and collaborative. She works closely with clients to increase self-understanding and self-compassion, examine behavior and thought patterns, develop coping strategies, and work towards achieving goals. To this end, she practices within a mix of modalities tailored to the individual client’s needs, including aspects of cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, and narrative therapy. Maya is committed to social justice and an anti-oppressive standpoint in her practice. She believes that the relationship between therapist and client is of paramount importance in creating a safe, comfortable space where healing and growth can happen.
