Kirsten is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) and a graduate of Lesley University’s Master’s degree program in Expressive Arts Therapies; she is also trained as a postpartum doula and certified lactation counselor.
Kirsten has extensive experience providing clinical services in special education settings, and in treating women with perinatal mood disorders and their families. Kirsten is a compassionate, supportive therapist who values peoples’ strengths and is dedicated to providing an open, empathetic and non-judgmental relationship. Kirsten utilizes a variety of therapeutic approaches in her work, including person-centered therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, art therapy and psychodynamic approaches as well as relaxation and social skills training. Kirsten has a passion for working with clients who are facing relationship challenges, anxiety, depression, learning disabilities, and life transitions, and deeply honors the process of each person’s personal growth.
