Abby Donoghue, MSW, is a social worker who earned her MSW degree from Boston College. While at Boston College, Abby completed two internships where she had the opportunity to provide individual and group counseling to adolescents and adults. Abby has experience working with a variety of diagnoses, including depression, anxiety, PTSD, borderline personality disorder, and substance use disorders. She has worked in a variety of settings, including residential, school, and outpatient settings. Abby’s approach combines different therapeutic modalities, including dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), solution focused therapy (SFT), mindfulness, and trauma-informed care. Abby aims to create a welcoming, non-judgmental space for clients to feel safe and explore their inner strengths.
