Todd Cassidy, LICSW

Todd Cassidy, LICSW is an experienced, collaborative therapist who enjoys working with adults living with anxiety, depression, post-traumatic stress disorder, and substance use disorders. In his work with clients, Todd utilizes a variety of therapeutic modalities in his work with clients, such as Cognitive Behavioral therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction, and Solution Focused Therapy.

Todd’s clinical experience includes working in a variety of clinical settings such as opioid treatment programs, outpatient mental health clinics, homeless shelters, and hospital settings, both in the emergency room and on medical floors. He has worked in community prevention programs with populations at risk for HIV/AIDS.

Todd is a graduate of Salem State College’s Bachelor of Social Work Program, and continued his education and received his MSW from Boston University. Todd is dually licensed as an LICSW in both Massachusetts and Rhode Island.

In his spare time, Todd enjoys exercise, yoga, meditation, and traveling and is an avid reader.

Todd has experience working with the LGBTQ community and works to provide a safe, non-judgmental, empathic space, where individuals can engage in therapy without stigma and shame.
