Cindy M. Gordon, LICSW, a native of Boston and graduate of Boston College’s Graduate School of Social Work, is an experienced therapist, administrator, clinical leader, and educator. Throughout her career, she has held clinical leadership positions in a variety of community-based settings. Prior to coming to The Leggett Group, past positions include Chief Clinical Officer at Newport Mental Health, Director of Adult Community Clinical Services at Bay Cove Human Services and Director of Outpatient Psychiatry, and the Psychiatric Emergency Services Program at Boston Medical Center.
Cindy enjoys working with diverse populations with a variety of clinical presentations. Her areas of clinical interest and expertise include trauma, generational and racial trauma, addictions, grief and loss, crisis intervention, and work with forensic populations. Cindy’s clinical approach is strengths-based and trauma-informed and pulls from a mix of therapeutic interventions. In addition to her role as Clinical Director at The Leggett Group, she is currently an adjunct faculty member at the Boston College Graduate School of Social Work and Simmons College Graduate School of Social Work.
