Brigid Owino, MA

Brigid Owino approaches therapy as a structured, collaborative process grounded in careful listening and clinical understanding, offering clients a consistent space to better understand their experiences and move toward meaningful change. Her graduate training began with a focus on substance use, and she developed a strong interest in perinatal mental health through both clinical work and lived experience.

She holds a Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology from Framingham State University. Her practice is evidence-based and trauma-informed, drawing from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). She has experience supporting individuals and families from diverse backgrounds, including women navigating substance use during pregnancy.

Brigid brings a calm, warm presence to her work, practicing from a client-centered stance rooted in respect, curiosity, and shared understanding — meeting clients where they are and supporting them in building on their own strengths.
