Michelle Visser, LMHC, is a psychotherapist who believes in meeting clients where they are and helping them on their journeys to where they want to be. Michelle earned her Masters in Mental Health Counseling from Lesley University in 2009. Since then, she has worked in Early Intervention supporting new mothers and fathers with their adjustment to parenthood. She is also the Founder and CEO of Diaper Circle, a local non-profit that provides diapers to low-income families. Michelle specializes in helping mothers with perinatal mental health concerns and families of all shapes and sizes experiencing a rocky start to parenthood due to prematurity, medical complications, multiples, etc. She incorporates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy into her work to help clients see progress as quickly as possible. Michelle understands that the choice to start therapy is not always an easy one, but can be one of the most important decisions that you will ever make.
