Michael Daly, LICSW is a clinical social worker who brings a supportive and practical approach to helping understand and address complicated life problems. Since graduating from the Boston University School of Social Work in 1992, Michael has focused on assisting teens and their parents with forging healthy relationships. In 1995, Michael received a certificate in Child and Adolescent Psychotherapy from Boston University and this prepared him to treat youth with depression, anxiety, ADHD, trauma, self injury and substance abuse among the many issues afflicting teens. Michael also has extensive experience in cognitive behavioral therapy, as well as training in dialectical behavior therapy. Michael is eager to work with new fathers embarking on the journey of parenthood, as well as with others making life transitions or encountering difficulties. His approach is strengths-based, and grounded on the principle that individuals have inherent talents and abilities that can help them overcome obstacles.
