Joanna Gardy is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and a graduate of Lesley University’s Master’s degree program in Clinical Mental Health. Practicing therapy since 2006, she has provided individual and group psychotherapy for people managing depression, anxiety, trauma, grief and loss, interpersonal conflict, and life transition issues. Joanna uses a variety of therapeutic approaches with a focus on mindfulness-based psychotherapies to address issues around body image, emotional or distorted eating, self-esteem, and stress/chronic pain. Her approach is client-centered and relational, drawing on one’s strengths to help encourage healing and change. Joanna’s therapeutic style combines warmth, compassion, humor and creativity.
