Connie Wynne, LICSWPsychotherapist

Connie Wynne is an experienced psychotherapist, who holds an MSW from the UCLA School Of Social Work and has been practicing in various clinical settings since 1992. In addition to maintaining an active outpatient practice, she spent 17 years providing clinical services to adolescents and their families navigating the court process. She has experience working in both residential and outpatient settings and working in collaboration with DCF, DYS and with schools. Her areas of expertise include trauma, substance use/abuse and co-occurring disorders, life transitions and identity issues, and living with chronic illness. She works with individuals, couples and groups from diverse backgrounds utilizing a collaborative and interactive approach, which assumes that people seeking help are ultimately the experts on themselves and have inherent strengths and resources from which to build. Connie believes that therapy is a process by which these inner strengths are harnessed to foster resiliency, develop a variety of helpful coping strategies, integrate experiences and author the narratives that become life stories.
