The Company:

The Leggett Group is a new and innovative group psychotherapy practice that is combining high-quality clinical services with a supportive, smart, collegial environment that seeks to be involved in and give back to the vibrant Roslindale community.  We are seeking a group of highly-skilled therapists who have been successful on their own, but who would prefer to work in a collaborative environment where working, learning and innovating together as a team are key.  We will be a group that learns from one another, while also setting goals for areas in which we’d like to grow.  We provide individual, couples and group therapies, as well as community-targeted offerings such as book talks, motivational workshops, and drop-in support groups that will provide growth, prevention and maintenance options for people seeking something different than traditional therapy.   We will also provide psychopharmacology services, and are seeking prescribers for that role as well.  The practice will offer therapy in a wide-range of specialties, and will have a strong identity as being leaders in Peri-Natal Mental Health, Couples Work / Relationship Therapy, and the intersection of Meditation and Psychotherapy.

Our offices are in a gorgeous, brand-new, high-end, state-of-the-art office building in Roslindale Square, facing Adams Park.  The office is handicapped accessible, and is easily accessible by car (on street and public lot parking), or public transit with a commuter rail stop 2 blocks away, and 9 bus lines converging in front of building.  You and your clients will be impressed by our very nice digs.

The Owner:

Jen Erbe Leggett, LICSW is a seasoned psychotherapist who has been in practice in the Back Bay for almost 9 years.  She is co-chair of NASW Massachusetts Chapter’s Private Practice Shared Interest Group, and has been involved in NASW’s Healthcare Reform Payment Advisory Group.  She teaches and consults with therapists in the area of practice development, marketing, and other clinical and business practices.  This group practice has been a dream for many years, and has grown out of her valued relationships with referring providers;  finally she’ll have a solid group of clinicians within her own group to give the overflow of cases she’s referred, and these clinicians will work together to make the work richer and so much more fun.
